(!) It’s good practice to use a tap on all included hardware and bracketry to ensure ease of final assembly.
Installation Steps:
1. Detach the clips on both sides of the soft cover to gain access to the hood. 2. While holding the metal wire of the insert nut, insert the nut through the indicated hole and push it all the way to the opposite hole until the nut is visible. 3. Secure the bolt "H" with its washer in that location. 4. Reattach the soft cover to the hood. 5. Detach the prop rod. 6-8. Install brackets as shown 9. It's not required, but you can press each strut against the floor a few times to help distribute the lubricant more evenly before installing them to the brackets. 10. Finish the installation process.
